New Drive can't retrieve backup data to system drive

When I try to retrieve my backup data and select the file and location on my Passport Essential SE 1 TB drive, the drive changes from the system C drive back to the WD Passport drive  and only allows me the one option of copying the files into a single folder and not to their original location this option is not available.  The files were backup on a Toshiba Laptop running Win 7 while I am trying to retrieve them back to the system drive on my Dell Desktop running Win XP.

 

Any ideas would be helpful as I just purchased the drive last weekend.

No can do. The original location is the Toshiba laptop therefore you can not chose that option.

 

retrieve to one folder and transfer to the desire locations afterwards
