Controlling multiple WDTV Live boxes in the same room

Anyone have suggestions about how to control multiple WDTV Live boxes in the same room where IR is problematic due to crosstalk.

Hi, the WD remote app might help if you have an iphone or android phone.

Not if you have an old WD TV live. The WD app only works on New Live and Hub.

Might be a little more of an investment than you're looking for, but some of the logitech harmony remotes work with a RF device called a wireless extender which is usually used for components that are out of IR line-of-sight.  Those extenders have little IR flashers that plug into one of the ports on the extender and then attach to the IR window of your device (WD box in your case).  They also have a little black rubber boot that covers and holds them in place on your device and also acts as an IR shield.  You can assign specific device commands to each of the IR ports on the extender.

Worth looking into if you'd like to consolidate your remotes to a universal remote, in adddition to your above problem.
