after updating to Firmware Version 1.05.04_V more time to recognize my 2 Tb HDD [ Edited ]

after updating to Firmware Version 1.06.15_V  it makes a lot of time to recognize my 2 Tb HDD Segate.

Before that update my WD TV live recognized and my WD 500GB and Segate 2 Tb at the same time and really fast!less than a minute!

NOW why it makes more THAN 5 minutes to recognize both????WHAT is the problem with that firmware?

Should i downgrade at 1.05.04 or the problem will be the same???

My guess is that it's spending time repairing the file system on the HD's due to an improper shutdown or pulling the drive without "ejecting" it.

Go eject both drives from the WD, plug them into your PC, and do a file system check / repair there.   It's faster.

no that wasn't the problem!

i downgrade the WD TV live at 1.05.04V and everything is OK except the choice of option bar at a movie!

When i push subs at option bar when i play a movie it shows the choices at le upper left corner of my tv and i can't see what is writen there.

Can you please tell me if that can be corrected?

So you verified your disks are error-free?  ... or are you saying that you think you fixed the problem by downgrading firmware?

THAT was corrected in later firmware.

I guess you will need to decide which issue to deal with.

again IF i dont write it well OR you are not familiar with the problem!

You suggest me to install 1.06.15 (8/2011) WHICH i removed that with roll back because i had some issues!

SO i DOWNGRADED my device at the 1.05.04_V wich is one firmware behind 1.06.15_V!!!

SO WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTING ME to put WHAT version to correct the subs problem???earlier than 1.05.04_V???for examble 1.04.22_V???

i am telling you that i have installed 1.05.04_V and before that i had the latest firmware (1.06.) witch caused me a lot of issues!

SO HOW can i fix subtitles  problem?i must wait 1.07????

If both firmwares are giving you some sort of problem then yes you have to wait and hope for the best.
