file has disappeared...

I have 3 WD TV HD Live WiFi and one of my .mkv files has disappeared.

I have my movies on a netgear NAS and while the folder is still there the file inside the folder is not according to the media player. The file is there if I check it with my computer. I have tried to delete the file and upload it again, tired to rebuild the media library but nothing helps. And it's the same on all 3 players. Is there some common library that is placed on the NAS that needs to be deleted?

Also, some folders that I have put on the NAS and deleted are still visible. How do I "reset" what the mediaplayer sees on the NAS? Reformat of the NAS is not an option.

Re: file has disappeared...

If you actually have a media library, then you're in the wrong forum.

This forum is for the 2009 model WDTV Live HD and 2010 model WDTV Live Plus.

The forum for the 2011 WDTV Live Streaming Media Player is here:

http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Streaming-Media/ct-p/wdtvlive_streaming

So please specify the model # of the device you have.

Also, how do you access your NAS from the WDTV?  Through a Samba/NFS Share?  Or through DLNA Media Server?

===Live SMP / Live Hub x2 / Live+ / Live x2 / 24 TBytes of QNAP + WD NAS ===
