Can I hide the video file extension?

[ Edited ]

Hi all, When viewing my videos in gallery view, the XML file is used as the soruce for the movie title. However, when viewing videos in any other view, the actual file name is listed. Can this be changed? I'd like to see "The Lion King (1994)" instead of "The Lion King (1994).mkv" I prefer to view my movies in the 9 boxes per screen format with the small thumbnail images, but I don't like seeing the file extension. Thanks.

No, you can't. I was wondering that myself. Not possible.

Well, aside for the fact that this is in the wrong forum,  (should be here:  http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Streaming-Media/ct-p/wdtvlive_streaming)

this is the wrong answer.

As long as you use the Content Source "My Media Library,"  file extensions will be hidden for all sources; as long as there is Content Info associated with the file.
