DirecTV DVR Viewing

I can see my content from my DirecTV DVR, but cannot play any of it.  I'm sure this is due to content protection, but DirecTV offers a software package called DirecTV2PC that allows playing the content on my Laptop.  Seems like this could be implemented either by cooperation with DirecTV or by emulating the method used in the PC software to access the content.

 

This would be a boon to both companies if it could be worked out!

I too am looking forward to this and know of many that would like this feature.

This would be an awesome feature.

I would definitely get a WDTV for every room in the house.
