GPL Code

I have downloaded the GPL code.  However, what is this for?  There seems to be no explanation.  Is this a Linux file so that you can hack the WD TV Live?  Or is this a file that can install or expand the unit?

Re: GPL Code

The GPL code can be used to customize the box, to an extent.  Do a search for b-rad, the most popular distro based on WD's releases.

There are quite a few sites that can tell you how to set up the build environment to get the GPL code to compile.

It's really there for legal reasons as the WDTV box runs Linux and the code must be released.
