Some things you need to know about using WD TV products in Latin America:
- The WD TV Live Plus and Live Hub media players sold in the U.S. and Canada are compatible only with the Netflix service offered in the U.S. and Canada. (For more information on which devices, please refer to Answer ID 8333.)
- The U.S. and Canadian WD TV Live Plus and Live Hub devices will not work with the Netflix service offered in Latin America.
- You must purchase The WD TV Live Plus media players sold in Latin America in order to use of the Netflix service offered in Latin America.
- There will be no firmware update for the U.S. and Canadian WD TV devices to work with Netflix in Latin America. Different technology was implemented in the U.S. and Canada. So, the WD TV Live Plus media players sold in the U.S. and Canada are only compatible with the Netflix service offered in the U.S. and Canada. They will never work with the Netflix service offered in Latin America.
- Both WD and Netflix implemented a different technology in order to enable Netflix content on WD TV Live Plus players in Latin America.
