Using composite AV with a HD TV for WD TV

I have an HD TV with only 1 HDMI port that is occupied by my satelite receiver.  When I try to use composite AV for my WD TV, it doesn't work.  I can't even see the main menu.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It worked at mine Tvs without problems.

I just plugged thhe yellow Video cable in and the Audio cables also and then switched to the Composite via TV remote.

Did you use the Yellow coloured cables?

I'd suggest you buy a HDMI switch box.   That way, you can enjoy full HD quality from both inputs.  No, I don't own one, so I can't recommend a brand, but there are several out there.

My friend had this problem the other day, she was plugging the Composite cable into the "Y Pb Pr" jack and not the "AV Out" jack. I know that's silly but just a thought.

Did you know that composite video has 2 modes, PAL and NTSC? I don't know which mode your TV supports, but it is possible that the WD box is in the wrong mode.

When you hold the reset button on the WD box down for over 10 seconds, it switches between NTSC and PAL mode. Perhaps you should try this and see if it helps.
