WD TV Live Plus - Boots up to Splash Screen

Hello Everyone:

 

I have a WD TV Live Plus device that I tried the reset procedure, as well as unplugging the device and replugging the device. I get the WD Logo for a few second then the screen goes black for ten seconds, then it goes to what I believe is the splash screen. It is the blue background image that is behind the menus etc. The light on the front of the box is on, the box does not respond to remote commands. It just stays on the splash image - tried resetting and power cycling many times no luck. Any ideas? I purchased this July 2010 so I can watch Netflix on my TV so almost had it two years.
