WD TV Live Plus with latest firmware 1.06.16_B and WD 3TB Green Drive not working

I have been looking answers for this issue and I have found that it is supposed to work with latest firmare which I have. No matter how I formate the drive, it is not recognized by WDTV. 

I also downloaded the WD Quick Formatter and the 3TB drive became 750GB.  Are you kidding me?

I am using GPT and have formatted the drive in XP-64 and Win7 professional with no avail.   The drive works perfectly fine in my XP64 and Win7.

Please tell me how to do this.  I do not want to split the drive into two partitions.

PRGonzalez, maybe you should try contacting WD's Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

Hi all,

I just upgraded my WD to the latest firmware which you mentioned and now its recognising my 3 TB WD drive-NTFS and able to play from it also.

I suppose upgrade should solve the issue else we need to contact WD support.
