lost network setting after power off

Just purchase a WD TV Live plus for an older TV.  Everything works great except I would loose network setting everytime I power down the unit.  I have to do the network setup everytime I turn on the unit and its kinda annoying.  Any idea on how to solve the issue?  I do have a WD TV Live streaming media player as well, i also would lost network setting on every reboot.  I found the run around on that is to reset network setting by going to workgroup and press submit.  I tried reading old posts without any solid direction on how to trouble shoot the problem.

In the WD network settings, do you have 'auto login to network shares' turned on?
