FLAC no longer supported? Ummm..... what?

I have been listening to online radio stations on the Hub for a while so it wasn't until yesterday that I noticed this problem. I went to play my music files that are on the local storage and none of them will play. The Hub just tries to play all of the files in the folder and then gives an error that the file type is not supported. They are all encoded as FLAC files and all played without a problem on previous fimware. If I stream these files to the WD Live in the other room they play fine. What gives here?

The decoder probably got "stuck on stupid."

Have you tried yet doing a reboot?

I tries restatring it from the system preferences and that didn't help. I will try to unplug it for a "hard" reboot when I get home. You're probably right since no one else seems to be having this problem.

Oh, just noticed... you said "Previous firmware..."

So if it has worked well on prior, and doesn't work at all on this one, then you may need to roll back...

But, as you say, if no one else is having that problem, it's probably just a transient thing...  Or something very unique about your FLAC files that this version doesn't like...

Anyway, here's the rollback instructions in case you need them...
