Re: Rebuilding the Library

First make sure you have the latest firmware. Then go into Setup-->System and Media Library. There will be an option to clear the media library. Do that. Then from the same page, turn off the media library function. Then go back to the System level and set Get Content Info to On. Then go back to Media Library, turn it on, and power off the unit. Make sure all your media is where its supposed to be. Then unplug the power for 10 seconds and plug it back in. The unit will start up and the light on front will start blinking. This procedure completely erases the previous dysfunctional sheets and begins to replace them automatically. The unit will boot up to the main menu but the light on front will still be blinking and a bar on the top of the screen will say something like "scanning media library". That will continue until the Hub has scanned every file and the blinking light on front will turn off. Thats not it though; now the light is solid but the bar on top of the main menu screen will say "finding media info" as it automatically downloads and atraches the moviesheets. It is very important that you donr unplig or use the Hub during this process because it could interrupt the procedure and you might have to start over. Just turn it on and leave it at the main menu until the light stops blinking AND the bar on top of the screen is gone. Then it has automatically scanned and sheet'd all your files.

I'm curious to why you say to turn on Get Content info? If he uses moviesheets,  why does he need content info? I don't use the latest firmware because of compatibility issues with the moviesheet I use so I don't understand the benefit of Get Content info when using moviesheets.  In regards to the latest firmware, his moviesheets may not be compatible. I've had the same problem with funky graphics and powering down was all it took to fix them.
