Just one answer.....because my system is set up to run through my Onkyo 609 av amp that provides ethernet through the hdmi lead to all devices that are connected to it. One ethernet cable in.....6 hdmi 1.5 leads out, providing internet connectivity to all devices....apart from my WD live hub. Everything has been built into a false wall and the aperture for the  WDdevice does not include an ethernet socket. I got ahead of myself during the construction and assumed....wrongly...that every device would be up to speed on the ethernet through hdmi 1.5 issue. Hope that answers your one question.
