Map Network Share by UNC path

I would like to request that you implement a feature that would allow one to manually connect to a network share by supplying the UNC, eg. \\server\share\ and supply needed credentials.

for the same idea although I recommend to use URL instead.

 

The title mentions NFS but the same goes for SMB/NETBIOS, as mentioned in the body text.
