Scroll faster through list by pressing first letter of filename

Isn't it possible to scroll through your list of folders/files faster by pressing the first letter of the file/folder. For example: If you want to jump to a folder/file starting with the letter "L": you press three times on number 5.

This makes navigation through your files a lot quicker.

 

Similar like on your cellphone, first you press the first letter of the name you're searching and you jump immediately to the first name starting with the pressed letter.
