Why a library compilation for minutes everytime I power-on, when in fact there's nothing changed ?

At power-on I want the unit to be ready with all media-info, not wait for minutes until he is ready compiling. Most of the time I don't add, delete or move movies at all, so why compile everytime?

Little children want to watch a movie right away.

Just let the unit not check everytime if thousands of files are still there. Just let him assume that they are still there.

Setting the library-option itself to "off" is not an option. In that case I lose my DVD-cover pop-ups etc.

So please add an option "Compilation On/Off". Factory default is "On" of course.

With that option set "Off" there is a much more quicker start.

To add, move of delete files I let the unit do a compilation by setting the option "On".
