Firmware 3.03.13 - OLD BUG - Cover art doesn´t show on DVD structured folder

Which firmware?

Firmware 3.03.13

What happened?

When using Media Library,
DVDRip with DVD structured folders (Name\Video_ts)  after Get Info lookup,

shows only xml-info and backgrounds
while Cover art is not shown.

What were you doing?

I was getting info for the DVD.

Does this happen every time?

Yes.

What hardware and media were you using?

WD TV Live Hub, built in HDD.

Did this happen with previous firmware?

Bug first showed up in firmware 3.00.28
it was in 3.01.19
and its in 3.03.13

Does power cycling the unit solve this?

No.

Does resetting to factory defaults solve this?
No.

Have you tried this on other devices?

Yes. Bug was eviden on my friends WD Tv Live Hub too.

It won't make any difference. 1st link still shows status as new even though it was created last December and the second link status is More info needed. There could be 1000 kudos and WD would most likely ignore that too. As long as their cash cow rake in money, they could not care less what this community want changed in the FW. What the point of making suggestions if they wont even acknowledged them.

Please edit your post to add the missing information while adhering to the specified guidelines on the right panel in order for this issue to proceed from "More Info Needed" to "In Review". This Issue shall remain frozen until this has been done. Regards, Jubei04.

Try to rename folder name video_ts to video ts, so replace underscore by space.

Solution:

Move all files from VIDEO_TS to the main movie folder e.g :

moviename /  VTS_01_1, VTS_01_2, VIDEO_TS.BUP ...

Remove Folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS

Reload movie info

works on firmware 3.03.13

Just to clarify when using folders and you want a thumb to a folder you have to put the jpg inside that folder and name it as folder not the movie name. Or rename the metathumb to folder
