Which firmware were you using?

3.03.16

What exactly happened?

Many films that were already in the English films directory on the WDTV Live Hub disapeared while I was moving films from the usb sync directory to the English Films directory.

What you were doing?

I was using Windows Explorer.  I clicked and dragged films from the main window and dragged them to the directory list window on the left hand side.  All of the films already in the target directory disapeared and only the last two films that I had dragged accross were in the directory.

What hardware and media were you using?

Laptop running win 7.  A Wifi LAN.  WDTV Live Hub.

Does it happen every time?

I'd rather not lose more films so haven't tried.

Does it happen with previous firmware?

I don't know

Does power cycling the unit solve it?

No.

Does resetting to factory defaults solve it?

No.

you tried this on other devices?

No.

I had the same issue and it was driving me crazy...

I found that changed the video from auto to: HDMI, Resolution=1080p, 24hz, Color=Auto did it for me... tried a few iso files after that (some of which kept making the WD crash before... they all worked fine.

So seems to work now.

Unless this has not been fixed with the current firmware, we will close this issue out due to its age.
