YouTube Videos no longer show thumbnails on videos/favorites/playlists after firmware ver 3.04.17

Ever since the latest firmware upgrade ver 3.04.17 for WDTV Live Hub, every time i access YouTube videos (not YouTube Leanback) it doesn't matter if i select videos/favorites/playlists the thumbnails for vids are pitch black.  I Power cycled the unit & resetted to factory defaults several times but YouTube thumbnails still do not show. I have no problem accessing YouTube with thumbnails shown on an iphone or Xbox.

 

By the way why cant we watch YouYube Videos in HD?  I can on my Xbox.

Got the exact same problem. This firmware version **bleep**.  Anyone know how I can restore the previous version ?  Or where I can even get it ?

The Live Streaming Issue Reporting is a variation of our idea exchange being used for the purpose of reporting issues with your WD TV Live Streaming Media Player.

In order to effectively report an issue you are experiencing with your WD TV, please make sure you include:

- Which firmware?
- What happened?
- What were you doing?
- Does this happen every time?
- What hardware and media were you using?
- Did this happen with previous firmware?
- Does power cycling the unit solve this?
- Does resetting to factory defaults solve this?
- Have you tried this on other devices?
