gotcha... i changed the arrow directions this morning for tonights 1.2 Update.. left and right skips pages up and down is for the content you see on your screen, if you go up beyond the content you are going into theme settings.

I really like the look of your theme. I keep hoping someone will hit that design that fullfills everything on my check list for the perfect theme. (Since I can't do it myself, I have hope one you designers will). I want to update my firmware but the theme features I like are stuck in 2.07. Someone mentioned about having their movies in separate folders and you asked why. I personally love the movie sheet with the information, but I prefer the grid view so I can see a larger selection at one time. With folders, you could get the best of both worlds.

Questions for you about Black Mamba:

1. Alot of complaints about moviesheet themes is the delay in the backdrop load. Personally, though it may be only a couple of seconds, it grates on my nerves like a scratch on a record (or should I say vinyl). Can the backdrops be shut off in Black Mamba?

2. Can music be put in folders by artist?

3. I see in the TV example of Friends, the episode title is cut off (Yes, Friends does get a bit long). That is probably the biggest issue I have with the theme. I've edited other themes to suit minor issues and I'm thinking I could do the same with this. Would I be able to tweak it with Thumbgen?

it was a close call to put the stars to the top but it got top heavy like the cool aid man

Feel free to load my templates into thumbgen designer and change them accordingly, this is very easy to edit, you just need to to drag and drop the stars to the where you want them, maybe you get inspired and take them to the next level. It's really easy you can't do it wrong

 I wouldn't know how to shut it off except for not having one

Yes of course.

I have my MP3 files by Artist/album/track.mp3

I know the library mode sorting functions is completely ill and can mix up things, I always recommend to turn it off because this library is even worse as the windows media library and this almost impossible. I can't make this decision for you, you need to know if you are rating your items or if you add favorite hearts to them, if not turn it off and you have the exact sorting as in your file structure.

Obviously everything can be tweaked in Thumbgen.

I hope you realized the friends graphic was just a thumbnail (cover art) and not a movie sheet. and yes friends is probably the dumbest one to show, they have by far the longest titles and the all start with "the one with..." lol
I have 35 TV Shows (complete) on my HDDs and the titles always fit except for Friends and occssionally Two and  Half Men, the good news is that I don't have to worry about the new epsiodes since they are garbage, lol

You could make the title in 2 rows and put the episode info somehwere else. I wouldn't reduce the font size this could get heavy on the eyes, at least it does for me and we have a huge 55" TV. You will be pleasantly surprised how much space these thumbnails provide to add stuff, I am sure you find a way to make them fit

Heya, great theme, and amazing work.

I have one question tho, if you look at the gallery mode, the top left 1 or 2 pixels of the thumbnails are white/treansperant, in the "blu-ray box". You can see it on the screenshots you posted aswell, atleast on the left thumbnails.

Is there a simple way to fix this? Something with thumbgen probably?

In the preview view (rv_preview_browse_page.xml)  i wanted the movie filename / title to be displayed in the info box on the right, instead of say .avi etc.

anyway i found the @@ command to do this.. so i have put the text at the bottom (left) of the screen.

the @@focused_title will return the currently selected movie. 

now if you have Library mode turned off , its the full filename,,, if Library mode is on then the Movie Title (from the xml) is displayed.

actually it is a white refection as you cannot do transparency with the newer firmwares

Glad you worked it out for you , like I said when you have to turn that library on i am not interested in doing it as this library is worse as herpes
