Copying 1 TB of files is a lot slower as thumbgen through the network

I always generate through my network it's aproximately 3 seconds slower per file for me but everything depends on the hardware you use.

DeVicious, excellent theme, nice job and thank you for give it to us.

I'm using a WDTV Live Hub wired to my PC with a Gigabit linked by a DLink router, wich give speed when I acess PC/WD/PC. Fast enough to use ThumbGen direct on WDTV HD. Let show you what I did, then you can help me in my "mystakes".
a) First I read your User Guide and decide to addopt your folder and file name suggestion, so I create Genre folders, make a copy of your suggested Genre Cover Art to the specific folders, renaming each one with the corresponding folder name: Action.jpg to Acao.jpg, Adventure.jpg to Aventura.jpg;
b) Move some movies from old folder to corresponding genres folders, renaming it according your sugestion: 60 Seconds.DVD.avi; Game Change.BluRay.mkv; Jane Eyre.BluRay.mkv... I start with 7 movies in the Acao folder, 1 in Aventura e 6 in Drama;
c) Download and install ThumbGen, copying the Movie2 and Movie3 folder to Templates folder, install the fonts;
d) Start ThumbGen, define Collectors and create the movie profile according your ThumbGen Options;
e) Choose the first movie in Drama folder (The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.mkv) and chosse Manual Mode, because I want to watch step by step;
f) After the Searching and Analysing and Preparing... I choose Generate them! and the process finish, with excellent results;
g) In the WDTV I made the changes in Photo Settings and turn Library off;
h) Each Genre Folder was with respective Genre Cover, except Drama;
i) In the Drama Folder, where The Secret of Your Eyes is, I have the files:

The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.avi
The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.avi_sheet.jpg
The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.srt (Yes, I use external subtitles)
The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.xml
Drama.jpg (Genre Cover Art)
Drama_sheet.jpg (Drama folder cover. The same of The Secret of Your Eyes.BluRay.avi_sheet.jpg)

j) Making a process review, I forgot to move the Common Folder!! Done now, and I remove all the files created by ThumbGen for The Secret of Your Eyes (Drama_sheet.jpg, other .jpg and .xml).

k) Repeat the process from d) and the results are the same results listed in i). Step j) now is OK;

l) Go to the second movie...I repeat the entire process from d) with the Jane Eyre.BluRay.mkv, and for my surprise, the Drama_sheet.jpg created in the first movie (The Secret of Your Eyes) was change to Jane Eyre(??). I have now a Drama_sheet.jpg with the exactly content of Jane Eyre.BluRay.mkv_sheet.jpg...

Can you help me? I don´t know what to do, where I look, what I make wrong...

I think you have checked "Extra Thumbnail" option (In the thumbgen guide please check page 9). This is only required if you have your movies organized in Seperate Folder i.e. each folder for each movie. But I think from your discription, you have arranged your movied by Genre. So this is not required. You can un check this option before generating the movie sheets. Thanks!

it appears to be that you are creating way too many sheets, please check page 9 of the manual, in your case you only need to check Movie Information, Movie Sheets and the Extra Moviesheet,

do no check the spare sheet and do not check the extra thumbnail and/or the thumbnail

ThumbGen only creates 3 files per movie if it creates more copy the General settings exactly from page 9 in the manual.

It appears to me that you have confused the TV settings with the movie settings and mixed them together

Your genre cover is not supposed to be named drama.jpg your folder image is ALWAYS called folder.jpg

DeVicious, I generate Route Irish and below the images of Main Window. This is what I want...

The next image is from Thumbnails in Backdrops. Why this 2 Thumbnails?

And the next is a .jpg created by ThumbGen. Drama_sheet.jpg. This JPG is to be used bu WDTV instead folder.jpg

Can you please let me know how to install the black mamba them on SMP one.

Tried to install the zip file, but it says invalid file.

The zippled filesize is coming to 20mb.

I have read the pdf document but I cant find the solution.

you download the pack 

one of the folders is named Black Mamba by DeVicious V1.4 

it is the content of this folder you zip i just checked it works

so you mean to say the rar file which we download, inside it , the folder  which says

Black Mamba by DeVicious V1.4  needs to be zipped and uploaded.

Will the movie sheets also work with it?

Loco if you upload images on the forum they need to be approved first, you can see them but nobody else can see them right now. I can only answer when I see them. Maybe you want to  upload them to a free upload service. Having said that you are creating too many files with Thumbgen which means by simply comparing the manual on page 9 with your options you won't even need my help. :-)
