Noticed you were busy in the New Firmware thread. I followed up TonyPh's advice and made new xml files for the TV Series i have on the WD. Then turned MediaLibrary on, Cleared MediaLibrary and let it build again, set Filter to Folders and guess what ... all episodes are in the right order ...

Tried to set the Filter to TV Shows but that is not my thing, back on Folders it all works fine.

Think it's time for the ThumbGen developer to do some homework about the TV Series xml style for the WD TV Live Hub.

Medic, it is completely unrealistic to offer a hand edit solution., The TV Series Friends has 242 episodes alone, I have 2600 episodes on my hard drive, it makes no sense to hand edit 2600 XML files so you can activate a broken piece of software then you are alone . The library is broken and does not work based on common standards. I also disagree with the statement that it is ThumbGens job to add an irrelevant code that will mess with the actual title of an episode, because in the end of the day the library is still messing with several other sorting options such as music tracks and franchise movies.

Folder/Filenames is the only sorting filter that will solve all these problems. No way in **bleep** I will work around in order to add something that is factually wrong and not endorsed by standards.

which version of the thumbnail? TV or Movie?

you can't it is a meta info read directly from the file itself, you want to change something you need thumbgen designer and edit it.

Any way to make the Certifications (R, PG-13, PG, G, etc.) show on the Gallery View with all the other info? 

I have kids and when they are browsing I would like them to know whether the movie is appropiate for them or not.

if you want modifications you need to do them yourself, 600 downloaders = 600 individual wishes, it cannot be done.

Download Thumbgen Designer and load the movie sheet templates into it and make the edits. Many of the other sheets have these kind of info already you can copy and paste the elements or use their sheets in gallery view if this is more family savy. sorry
