D-Link DWA-125 version A3 Wireless Adapter

Can WD please advice when is the latest firmware to be released and able to support the D-Link DWA-125 A3 version Wireless Adapter?

The WiFi Adapter list given mostly outdated, very hardly to find those adapters which in older firmware/verison.

Well, I really doubt that any WD agent will post here, this is a user to user forum, try to contact WD tech support, they might be able to give you an answers.

Ya'll do understand that the A3 is OFFICIALLY UNSUPPORTED, right?

I understand that, but i wrote to WD support to ask them if they are planning to do anything about it. (e.g. Release an updated firmware). I hoped that somebody else wrote them and got an answer. I will post here if i get an answer from the WD support team. Have a nice weekend.

I have the A2 version of this adapter which used to work without a hitch but since I upgraded yesterday the firmware on the WD works only intermittently. It seems to be related to the WD going into "sleep" mode - whatever I do subsequently I can't persuade the WD to wake up the adapter. It corrected itself once but at the moment I'm having no joy at all.

I don't know if it's related but I noticed that a normal USB stick which is plugged into the WD is not recognized when the WD is turned on - I must insert it only after the WD is up and running. Is there a problem now in the HD with handling USB devices ?

WD support got back to me but they told me there is no workaround for the A3 version not beeing recognised and that they can not confirm that it will be included in the next firmware update. I returned the adapter and bought this one http://www.bee-wi.com/mini-wifi-adapter-802-11n-bwa211-beewi,us,4,BWA211-A1.cfm . Eventhough it is not in the list it works great.
