Hi All this is my first post, I have just purchased a WD Live TV, everything is set up really well, connected and external 1TB drive with films and music, updated firmware, iplayer, netflix etc, all up and running.

Most things are straight forward and work A1 I love it, the only question or should I say thing I am struggling with is when you look for other media sources you get a selection of options which one of these options keeps promting me to put  in a password and user name I have no idea what this is and can not get this to work.

 

Any ideas please

It's asking for the User ID and password for the account used to share the videos.

 

If your Sharing PC doesn't have passwords on the shares, then just stay with the default provided, ANONYMOUS and a blank password.
