WD TV LIVE NOT WORKING!!

Hi Guys,

 

I have a gen 1 wd tv live...recently wanted it go live. I bought the D-Link Xtreme N dual band USB adapter(Model: DWA-160A2)--listed on the compatible devices list [ http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3805#wireless ]. It doesn't seem to be working.  The adapter is fine. I tried it by checking it on the PC, it is getting recognised and installed but on the WD TV Live it is not giving any response. Please Help.

Your model is not exactly the same that is listed, yours is DWA-160A2, while the one in the list is just DWA-160.  The A2 in the model number means that it is a different version/revision than the original, which is not guaranteed that it will work with the WD TV Live.
