Wifi dongel to my WDTV Live that works as good as possible with Netgear WNR3500L?

Hi,

 

I need to make my WDTV Live Gen2 wireless and If I understand it right its just to put in a USB dongle that communicates with my router(WNR3500L)? 

 

What standards should this dungle have to get the most out of my equipment?

I have no fixed a compatible dongöe but I do not get a wireless button in the optrions menu? Do the dongle maby have to sit in a specific USB?

If you are not using a compatible adapter, the Wireless Configuration menu options will not be available.

 

Exactly what Brand / Model / Revision did you buy?

Its a TP-LINK TL-WN721N 150Mbps.

 

Its on the list as far as I can see?

No, it's not...  only the 821 is, not the 721.

 

And of the 821s, only version 2.2 was tested.

Sorry, I see now.

 

But the 2.2 version is not possible to get anymore. It will probably be version 3 but this is not working accoring to this community?
