Video drop outs?

Every once in a while I my video drops out to a blank screen.  Audio remains though.  Video is connected by HDMI, but video is optiocal, so I don't know if the audio is dropping out on HDMI as well.

 

Any ideas why that's happening?  If I wait long enough it usually returns, maybe a minute or so.

Have you try a different HDMI cable, just to try to determent if this is an issue with the cable or the WD TV?

I have not yet, no.  I will do so and report back.

I had no such problems with my WD TV Live unit, which I drop in replaced with this one, so I was assuming that there would not be an issue as a result of the cable.
