downmix of 5.1 to stereo on optical out?

hi there! i don't have a surround receiver, instead i have a high quality stereo analog/digital convertier with optical input. now my question: can the wd tv live configured so it downmixes all surround/5.1 sound to a stereo stream on optical out instead of 5.1 passthrough on the optical out? best regards, jj

Yes. If you configure it to "STEREO," all outputs will be active with 2-channel audio.
