scanning library content

Just curious if the WD takes a real long time scanning content. I had about 300 movies I put in the library and only those atm are in the library content and was still getting content this morning which would have been scanning for 10hrs. Is that normal to be scraping for that long?

i remember the first time i ran it on mine it took forever (hours). It was on a 2TB drive with hundreds of different media files on it.  Once its done it all it will be quicker as you add new stuff.
