Re: Like a simple File Manager!

There is an option in system settings to turn that annoying, slow and buggy indexing service OFF. Look for "Media Library" in settings and set it to "OFF"

When you turn OFF this settings the device does not make those folders on your drive and wrks smoother.

I had this "ON" while having 500gb of MP3 in my hard disk. the WD TV Live totally hanged out each time i connected the hard disk! I Even give it 8hours so that it may complete indexing but no success achieved. Just turned the aboe said option to OFF and everything is just fine now.

Re: New Issue Reporting Exchange for WD TV Live Streaming (10/19/11)

my WD Live TV hub was acting flaky, i have a folder full of videos (well 370 atm) and while browsing the item counter at the bottom would sometimes count down at one point would only show 22 videos in the folder then it started adding them back. At one time it told me there were no media files in that folder. checking the folder from the PC showed all files there, so i did a system reset and now i've lost my Netflix and Pandora icons under services, also in the top i guess status bar it is constantly shows "Getting Content info" well at least for the last 2 hours.

A feature that would be nice to add would be the posiblity to contiious play of a folder and to randomize it. I have quite a collection of music videos but stop what i'm doing to pich one ever 3 to 4 min is a pain.
