Re: New Release - Firmware Version 1.09.10 for WD TV Live Streaming Media Player (6/5/12)

[ Edited ]

No torrent download here, I encoded these myself.

V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC

is this not simply the header showing: Video AVC format in MPEG4.

Not sure about the "ISO" part as the source was a BluRay

In the second file though it shows the same line, although the source for the second item was a file

There's a bug in the WDTV that affects playback of files encoded with HB 0.9.6.

If you run them through MKVMerge, it will fix them.

Don't know about your first example...

Re: New Release - Firmware Version 1.09.10 for WD TV Live Streaming Media Player (6/5/12)

Can't be as simple as that, as I have other files encoded in Handbrake 0.9.6 that I had to subsequently run through MKVMerge for an unrelated reason.

They suffer from exactly the same problem, still will not play.

So there must be something more to it than this.

Is there any particular version I can downgrade to that did not have any issues with MKV files from local storage?
