Delete section "Live TV" from the main screen

Delete section "Live TV" from the main screen, and move it into the category of "Services".

this probably wont happen as there are live tv options out there that 'will' or 'could' go in that section.

also in other countries they have more options there than we do currently (including US/UK).

+1 for this. The "Live TV" tab should be either moved to "Services" or moved along the menu past "Services".

In the meantime you can hide the "Live TV" menu option by going to into: Setup > System > Device security > Parental control > On > Live TV > SlingPlayer - Hide

Not only should this useless tab be removed, we should the ability to hide other unused tabs.

You can easily hide unused tabs, I don't understand a lot of users here. The theme is really easy changeble, a link here to the correct files is given by Techflaws.

There are 2 files inside the zip, open them in notepad and delete for example the tabs you don't want, zip the file again and send it to your mediaplayer and within 1 minute you have what you want.

It's really stupid how everyone is asking here for thins which are allready inside the firmware...

You expect too much from mere users who just don't want to have to deal with stuff like figuring out how to access the web gui in the first place (haven't seen any guide on this yet). I'd also prefer having an option to turn off tabs and/or setting my own starting page.

If you go into settings and set up a device security password, then you will have parental controls activated. With that, you can hide services. If you hide the services that are in the live tv tab, then the live tv tab will go away. At least it did for me.

In the Russian version of the interface does not translate "Live TV", and to be using English name.
