Sound output through Only A/V

Currently I have found the below option for sound output:

  • Stereo
  • Only through HDMI
  • Only through Optical

I think u guys missed one more option that only through A/V

I was looking for this option because I connected my TV with HDMI and connected my speaker with AV cable as my TV sound quality is not that good. But while watching a movie I found that sound is coming up from both TV and my speakers, I can mute my TV but it shows a mute sign always on the screen and I think most of the TV do the same.... So it would be great if you guys add one more option under sound output... "Only through A/V" so that we can easily connect our speakers with the WD system.

Note: My speaker don't have HDMI port or Optical port. So the only option is for me a the A/v cable. And by the why you guys provide us such a short A/V cable

There's an easy way around this.

Instead of muting the TV just turn the sound to zero.

Or try using the 3.5mm headphone out on the TV.  Either this will automatically mute the TV speakers (only without a mutuer icon appearing) or you'll find seperate controls in the TV's menu for TV speakers volume and headphone volume.
