How about a WD TV Live that can cleanly playback video?

WD TV Live Plus: WDBABX0000NBK-01   Cleanly plays back files in a loop

WD TV Live: WDBHG70000NBK-01  Insists in putting up "Subtitle off, No Audio Channel" every loop!

 

What software engineer decided that it was more important to remind the user that there aren't subtitles or audio then it is for your product to be able to cleanly playback video? My ears will quickly tell me that there isn't any audio present, and my display offers control should I wish to have subtitles.


Your product is a player, not a video file status analyzer. You have failed with the products most basic function - to cleanly play video!

 

There are many customers that wish to use these as digital signage players looping converted .ppt's for example and now we can't becuase the new model won't loop without displaying status information.  You really need to turn this off or make it a choice.
