missing volume control

unfortunately there is no way to control the volume, which is really necessary because volume level is very different between e.g. MP3 and dolby. It's really unusual for a multimedia player, even CD/DVD/MP3/SAT receivers... and many more devices have a volume control. I don't use the player directly on TV nor on AV receiver, I use it with active speakers mounted on the wall, where I can not reach the speakers volume control.

So, please introduce a volume control with some of the next firmware updates. I know, that there is no key on the remote, but I use a logitech harmony, so I can map the RC code for volume control to the harmony. In the Live's player setting menu the key-mapping for volume control should be user-defined.

If you have a Iphone or a Android Phone there is a Remote app and it has a vol. controle and it works fine. and the remote response is farst better then the one that comes whit the WD TV LIVE S.

I agree. There is a mute control, why not volume. It was present on older models, please, add it(e.g. the up and down arrows during play functions). Tx

This is implemented in the Android and iOS WD Remote app.
