All my 1080p MKV freezing or Fast fastwarding on its own .

Which firmware were you using ? 1.07.15

 

What exacttly happened?

All My mkv 1080p+ remux  movies freezes at some point during the movie , no exception .

With previous firmware it would freeze and hang only Hard reboot would release it . With the new firmware it freeses for few seconds  then start again , It also Fast forwards on its own .This happen every 5 minutes or so 

No issues with 720p mkv ..

 

What hardware and media were you using ?Wd live streaming + 2 3tb USB Drive

 

Does this happen everytime ? Yes

 

 Does it happen with previous firmware? Yes

 

Does power cycling the unit solve it? Only temporarily

 

 Does resetting to factory defaults solve it? No

 

Have you tried this on other devices? yes

Hey guys  please try to fix this issue , My movies are freezing still 95% of the time .. I can't use this player , i now have to watch my movies using my laptop.

New firmware did not resolve my issue ... Its freezing for files encoded or remux  with handbrake or MKV merge.

Having the same issue, but not just with 1080p, I just had it happen to me with a 720p.  I've gotta say, I am glad to see that I'm not the only one!

Any news on this, it's not the biggest issue for me, certenly not a deal breaker, but I would really like to see this fixed or at least a work around :/

Unless this has not been fixed with the current firmware, we will close this issue out due to its age.
