After upgrading the folder thumbnail is replaced by the first video thumbnail in folder.

WD is revamping the Issues area.   If you look at the status summary on the right side, you'll see that Raphael has jumped on a number of issues yesterday (2/15...)  

 

So, cut them a little slack while they sort out their house... :smileywink:

Seems you need to delete all .wd_tv folders and metathumb files and let the player rebuild your thumbnail gallery. I did that and it's now pretty much back to normal.

 

* Edit - Okay, definitely not fixed. Although I was able to re-set my thumbnails by doing the above, as soon as I started editing thumbs or adding new ones that parent tree ignored the folder.jpg again and used the first thumb available.

 

Annoying, but at least I know how to work around it until a fix is in place.

too busy I guess fixing some MLB bug that affects 0.0001% of users rather than concentrating on obvious easy ones that affect everyone! :womanlol:

The Live Streaming Issue Reporting is a variation of our idea exchange being used for the purpose of reporting issues with your WD TV Live Streaming Media Player.

In order to effectively report an issue you are experiencing with your WD TV, please make sure you include:

- Which firmware?
- What happened?
- What were you doing?
- Does this happen every time?
- What hardware and media were you using?
- Did this happen with previous firmware?
- Does power cycling the unit solve this?
- Does resetting to factory defaults solve this?
- Have you tried this on other devices?

Our goal is to try to address the issues that are the most important to you. Use the kudos arrow to say "Me too!" if you see an issue that affects you.
