Setting o/p resolution
The manual says “480 decode DVD quality and upscales up to 1080i”. But: how do you set the output resolution?
Manual says “Video output resolution includes 480i and 576i (composite and component interface), or 480p, 576p, 720p, and 1080i (component interface)” but how is this set.
The only video setting I see is component/composite.
If I only have an SD Tv will this the WD mini output only SD for me?

It's in the settings menu under Video Output Resolution.
If you don't have HD, then upscaling doesn't make any sense; in fact, your TV may not even support those resolutions.

Thanks.
The manual only says:
“Video output resolution
Use this menu to set the TV input. Options include:
• Component (Y, Pb, Pr)
• Composite AV (CVBS):”
Thus I assume there are more setting than the manual describes.
I have not bought the WD mini yet and my Tv would not support an upscaled output. That was my concern.

Ahh. Good! You're actually Reading the MANUAL before buying!!! (applause!) I wish more people would do that; it'd save them a lot of heartache later when they discover that something they assumed would work won't.
There's another page there that gives (very vague) reference to what I mentioned; it's on page 42 (PDF page 46)
