Sound very low on mp3 or vide files. Any suggestions?

Admittedly I have an old CRT TV (10 years or so), but when I plug the player into it via the Aux (using the yellow, red, white cord) the image quality is great, everything works except the sound. If I turn the TV up full volume I can just hear the sound. Any suggestions. It could just be the TV, but I would have thought there would be a volume control on the media player....

Thanks

No, there's certainly no volume control in the player; that's the job of the amplifier.  In your case, that'd be your TV.

If your audio is that low, I would be concerned that you have a bad signal path.   Try plugging in another device (like a DVD player playing the same CD as your MP3s or something consistent) into that jack and see if there's a significant difference.

If the volume from the CD is good, then I would check the CABLE from the Mini, or it could be the Mini itself.
