New Idea

Having the Live Hub show the movie background poster pictures from the links loaded into the metadata files might seem like a nice feature.

But it also gives several problems.

a) Actual movie information (description, +++) becomes entirely unredable. White text on black (no poster) is perfect. The white text against the movie pictures of all kinds of colors (especially of course light ones) makes the medata collected entirely use-less. Cannot read the text.

b) Live Hub attempts to keep up loading new backgrounds when I am scanning through the catalog, and it slows it down. In addition, it cannot keep up, so it ends up showing the wrong pictures against the wrong movie. (Until I stop on a movie and it finally refeshes)

c) There is likely a privacy issue. I assume you are not caching all these pictures, and that there is a reason for the links stored in the medata. (Locally storing all these pictures would mean thousands of pictures in my case), which are definitely not on the visible partitions of the Live Hub.

This means that the Live Hub is accessing the tmdb.org poster http  links constantly while I scan through my library.

I am not really interested in tmdb.org being able to follow every click and scan I do on my little device here, just to load some pictures that makes the medata unreadable on the screen to boot.

So.. Please add an option in the menus to turn OFF loading the backgound posters.
