This is as much an issue as it is a suggestion.

Since we have the ability to store movie sheets or backdrops locally and activate them through a simple xml file....

<backdrop>filename.mkv_sheet.jpg</backdrop>

 .... I think it would make a whole lot more sense to disable an internet connection as a requirement.

In other words, the locally stored backdrop won't load unless you are connected to the internet. Not sure if redundant is the correct terminology for this but it is at least silly. Many people don't have or want an internet connection in their living room, or buy additional hardware etc..

It would improve the entertainment factor a lot if these people would be able to run their movie sheets when they are offline.
