Please rewrite the Smartware software!!!!

I totally agree with the other posts on this issue. The WD drive is good but the Smartware software that takes over your whole system is soul-destroying.

Okay, it's great peace of mind knowing that my data is constantly backed up but if the price is total loss of performance and ruined overall user experience, I'm seriously considering dumping this whole system and findng an alternative. I used to use One Touch and the only reason I changed to WD was I needed a bigger drive. But at least with the old systm my PC ran smoothy. This is a nightmare!!!

Is is really too much to ask to have the option of either (1) constant backup or (2) scheduled backup. Then let the user decide and take the risk.

I have a good computer but guys, this set up is making my life a misery  and I rely on a good system to remain productive as I use my computer all day for work.
